Hi,

I'm a massive noob at FreeNas and have been having massive problems for the last 2-3 days.

I have FreeNas 9.2 running on my HP N54L server (but only running on the 2GB ram factory ram set) with a 1tb WD green hard drive.

I've successfully installed the plex, coachpotato, sickbeard and transmission plugins, however, CP, sickbeard and transmission can't be turned on! Odd thing was it was working fine the day before!

I've tried not to play around with it too much (tried to previously and screwed something up big time, needed to reinstall everything from scratch). I'm just wondering if it is likely that the problem is the lack of RAM? Or could it be something else?

RAM is a very distinct possibility.. you have 1/4 of the minimum...quite frankly, I wouldn't even spend more time on it until you get that up to the minimum.

I've added 8gb of ram which works. But I'm still having the same problem. Any ideas guys?

Does the system use a static IP or DHCP? Is the system turned on all the time or do you shut it off?

Got it working now. I deleted the plugins and reinstalled them again after I upgraded to 8gb. Works fine now

There's a reason I added those system requirements... please don't ignore them in the future. ;)
