SOLVED Can't get Plex media server to run under 9.3

I can't seem to get the Plex media server plugin to run under 9.3. I thought it was because i had previously had it installed under 9.2 (and had GUI upgraded to 9.3), but I deleted both the plugin and the jail and reinstalled the plugin and it still won't startup:

When I try, I get the console error:

Nov 19 22:48:36 bethel manage.py: [plugins.utils:92] Couldn't retrieve http://192.168.1.69:443/plugins/plexmediaserver/1/_s/status: HTTP Error 400: Bad Request

and the service status is stuck on OFF. :-(

Is there a strange bug regarding the 4th or more jail in FreeNAS? just reading another thread and someone indicates as much. Hmmm...

Edit: turns out to be a problem with HTTPS, read down.

Have you enabled HTTPS in your GUI? If so, this is a known bug and you can work-around it right now by simply using HTTP.

Brilliant. Flipping the GUI protocol to HTTP+HTTP solved the Plex media server problem. Thank you!!!


p.s. I had the same settings under 9.2.x and didn't see the issue, so don't know if this is a new or old bug.
