Cant attach to pool

I have a server running 6x2tb in a raid I then had the os on a USB drive. Everything was doing just fine till it rebooted out of the blue, everytime it tried to boot it would say "data disk" took me a min to figure out it was not reading the USB and was falling back to the drives.
Checked out the USB drive and its completely un readable will not boot, when I place in my laptop its not recognizing its there.

So I grabbed a new USB stick and reloaded freenas with the basic settings. Then in thought all I need to do is go to.storage and import the pool. When I try and do that I get to selecting pool and its blank.
I back out and check the disks and all the disks are fired up. They are even in the normal order such as da1 da2 etc.

Is there something else incan do to access the pool? It's not encrypted fyi
