running freenas 8.3, with 3 nics (1 for mgmt, 2 for iscsi). the iscsi nics are on a seperate network (192.168.98.0/24) and dedicated switch.
after setting up mgmt port (192.168.2.15/24), i logged into the interface and setup the two iscsi nics to be 192.168.98.12 and .14 (i'm reading that i may need to have each of these on seperate networks as well?), plugged them up to gb switch (and get link lights), but i cannot ping to or from them to other boxes on that network? i have several other machines with connections on that network and they can ping each other, but not the freenas addresses?
is there something setup by default to deny pings? is there something i need to do to 'enable' them?
here's the ifconfig:
thanks in advance!
