Happy New Year everyone!
I am having trouble connecting to my SMB and AFP shares after I migrated my Freenas server. Things of note are that the new network is on a different subnet ( I expect the issues I am encountering might have to do with this?). Originally it was a 192.168.0.0/24 network now its an 10.0.1.0/23 network. Changing the network settings of the server were a breeze after which that I was able to configure the FreeNas box through the WebUi. I expected this to be it as far as the reconfiguration was concerned, unfortunately this is not the case.
I have tried making new users, datasets and checking my services if they are configured correctly. I was unable to find any errors in the settings and even with the new user and datasets where everything seems set correctly in the WebUi I was unable to connect.
This is the error message I am getting: (I am sure the user has permissions to access this server)
Please let me know if any ideas pop up. I am happy to provide more information if needed.
