Hi guys I'm brand new to dsb and freenas so I know next to nothing about it. I'm getting a crash course so to speak on these forums though. I really like the OS and I've been working on setting up my freenas box for a while now. I'm using it as a LAN file server and a backup machine. As such I'm using ZFS and it's working great for my uses. The neat thing is that I haven't put any money into this box at all, I'm just using a old gaming PC I had on hand and 3 250gb hdds. I'm getting decent transfer rates of 40MB/s consistently. I was hoping for more but from such an old machine I'm happy! Just wanted to say hi to all and hope to continue to learn about this amazing os. - angel
