Bi-directional sync TrueNAS Scale and nextcloud

Hey guys. I've got a backup solution that I think I like. Basically, every night at midnight (I can change when based on usage) my TrueNAS backs up all the data folders to my Nextcloud (seperate machine). Is it possible (and if so, how) to have the machine that sends the backup to nextcloud also pull any changed documents from nextcloud before it pushes any changes on its end? Like: every night at midnight, check nextcloud for any changed files and if there are any newer edits (on documents) to pull those changes to the TrueNAS machine and THEN push any changes on the TrueNAS machine to the nextcloud machine?)
