My asrock motherboard (see sig) on the IPMI is showing a sensor error.
BAT Lower Critical 2.52 Volts
Is that the CMOS battery on the motherboard?
That battery stands upright. Any tips on how to remove and replace it if thats the problem. It's difficult to get to I'm not sure how to release it. Will I lose all my bios settings?

Sorry for this being a little off topic but I'm sure someone has done this before and can offer some advice. Thanks.

The motherboads UEFI or bios should have the ability to save
a copy of your configuration, because when the battery is
removed the configuration settings will be lost in most cases.

Be smart and contact your motherboards tech support team
for help with this. There are a few different battery sockets
and they have proclivities that must be adherd to avoid
damage to the socket. Also match exactly the battery type
when buying the replacement.

I already contacted them. Odd how the manual and IPMI manual doesn't explain the error or process of replacing the battery. Thanks for your help.
