badblocks - anybody used the -c option ?

i was investigating badblocks and read the posts here on the freenas forum. i could't find anybody using the -c option (blocks at once) - i believe this will make the test faster with no reduction in it's thoroughness. Am i correct, can i use -c 98304 with no problems ?

Did you try this option? If so, did it do what you expected?

i did some testing with a sata2 drive on a sata2 motherboard and all the times were exactly the same. I ran the test 3 times (default, 98304 and around 66000)
