There's an issue out for it, but it doesn't look like it's a very high priority.

...and "not a very high priority" has just become "not to be fixed." Apparently "maybe someone will make a plugin some day" is just fine with the devs.

Some risks:

• Psu failure damaging both pools
• Fan failure causing overheating in the whole chassis/case
• Minor internal wire fire/sparks (?) Correct me if I am wrong

Good points, these risks seem real, though I don't know how likely they are. I have to balance those risks against the advantage of having only one server to pay for, build, and maintain. Also keeping in mind how valuable or irreplaceable the data are.

Some other (funny ? ) risk:
