Hello, in the spirit of upgradeing my system to TrueNAS core I also wanted to replace my old USB pen solution with a proper SSD.
After a fresh install and getting the system to boot the SSD to was ready to upload my config file but the system told it was to big. Its about 10,5MB and the limit is 10MB.
So now om back to the old USB pendrive.

Is there anybody that can give me some pointers to what I can do to reduce its size? (or increase the limit)

By default, the system keeps a copy of old boot environments - just in case you wish to reboot into a previous configuration. Try deleting some of the old boot environments, then back up the system configuration. You can do this from the web gui: System > Boot.

Perhaps this will help.

I have cleaned up for most of the old boot images. No change in config file size.
