Using 9.2.1.6-RC totally configured and complete, I have run into a new issue. Today after no changes on it I cannot create new directories inside any of my shares/datasets. I can copy new files into them but cannot copy directories either.
I have never had this issue and backups are still working with time machine etc. I just cannot create NEW directories. I even restored a config.db from yesterday to be sure but I went to bed with all fine and now while I can access my data, I cannot add to if if it involves a new directory. I am using only AFP shares right now, CIFS is disabled as I dont use windows. I did set ACL to unix to fix the timemachine issue per another thread/bug id but only now am I seeing this. A little discouraged after spending all day today trying to fix. Any chmod operations attempted in gui results in log file showing chmod operation not allowed and lists every file in each directory of said data set.
Any specific logs I can check for more specific errors or to why this creeped up without changes being made ?? Glad to look just need direction being new to bsd world.
