ASK | Is RSYNC encrypted ?

Dear Masters,

First of all, I am sorry if my thread break any rules for new threat or have some similar threats.
I just wanna ask , is RSYNC has encryption or security over the network ? As far as I know, the RSYNC will run over a network so I am wondering about the security of the data transferred between 2 NAS.

rsync itself (i.e. in daemon mode) is unencrypted.

rsync over ssh provides whatever encryption ssh provides, which is configurable.
