i am running Freenas 9.3
ZFS Pool für 1x 3tb Disc and 4x1.5 Discs
I want to configure a Rsync copy to a remote OpenMediaVault System.
I know this is a Freenas forum but im hoping for help in here because i am totaly confused by using the rsync options etc.
What i want to do:
Copy files (for backup) to the remote OMV Server.
Its in my home-network, so i dont care about security, ssh or module....
I want to copy a share-folder in the 3tb disc to the remote side. if a file is deleted it should be copied in a backupfolder on the remote side (option in rsync shpuld be -b -backup-dir=DIR correct?)
But in generell.... what should i enter in the fields of the rsync service? and the rsync task?
The sync should be every hour. It should be from the Freenas TO the omv server. So a push, correct?
Does anyone know how to configure the omv on the other side as well? would be quiet perfect :D
