Any Media Center plugins that work nicely with XBOX360?

I tried PLEX, but their app requires premium subscription.

Any other Media Center apps I can run on FreeNAS?

There's Emby, and there seems to be an XBox360 client app.

You can also just use a plain share or use Plex's DLNA server.

DLNA of latest version does not work, PLEX's forums full of it. I'm just not sure if I'm "lucky" but when I install app and it doesn't work and it's a known problem - it's just nor right.

Ideally I'd like something that starts up or very easy to access...

A plain CIFS share is as simple as it gets, but the console has to be able to handle the file format.

Yep. But no, this won't work. I need app to transcode. And I do like interface with tiles, etc.

At the risk of repeating myself, have you looked at Emby?

I'm looking at it now. Didn't have a chance to install it yet, will definitely try. Any others?
