Another problem with the LDAP (OpenLDAP)

Hi All,

I need do a FreeNAS to the company where I work (about 100 users)

I'm using as a test server a Dell T100 With 4x2TB HardDrive

The version

I installed the FreeNAS, and i Can configure the Windows Shares, all are Working. :)

The problem is That I Need to configure the FreeNAS authenticate in our LDAP (OpenLDAP with RedHat 5)

All company users are created in the LDAP, and some others system that we have authenticate in this base and all works fine.

I am trying to configure the FreeNAS to authenticate in the LDAP by four days, and I cant configure it, so I need some Help.

When i configure the FreeNAS to use the LDAP, It works too, I can authenticate whit a registered user in the LDAP by ssh, and I can do the command Id <some user> and I can see all the information about this user in the LDAP .

I have some doubts about the LDAP Configuration

Is Necessary that the LDAP have support to the Samba?, For example, is necessary add a samba.scheme in LDAP?
If yes, do you have a little guide, or the direction That I Need to integrate the FreeNAS with the LDAP.

If not, how can I configure? I Followed the guide of the LDAP FreeNAS Documentation, but not works.

What is the prerequisites That I need to have in the LDAP to the FreeNAS work?
