Hello, all,

could you be so kind to tell me, what does it mean, I have got an empty network global configuration? (Please, look at an attachment.)

I have installed the FreeNAS as a virtual server on the ESX 4.1 platform and I would like to use it as a storage for another virtual servers in this virtual network.

I am not able to share the space into the FreeNAS for these servers, even I can ping it.

There was some strange thing when I installed the FreeNAS. I have got no DNS server, so I have to set the IP address as solid. But I was not able to do it by FreeNAS first configuration. I had to set it on the FreeBSD level.

Thank you very much for every your comments and thoughts.

it could be so simple?

@nicko

Hi, it could be so simple? I will check it tomorrow. But, another options (windows) I have seen. Ok, we will see. Thanks.

Edit: Yes, it has been by internet browser. I am able to view network settings by Google Chrome Portable, but not by Mozzila FireFox Portable.
