Last week we were working just fine, as recent as Thursday 12-29-11. This morning, 1-3-12, we came in and found that we have no write permissions to our production volume. We are on release 8.0.2 and have one primary user and group. It seems that the AFP Allow list has been cleared, we have reset the Allow list to the group and made sure the volume permissions are available for that group as r,w,x. I went home to see if my personal system had a similar issue and low and behold it did. I added the group back into the AFP Allow list and reset permissions at home and was fine. The Production Volume is taking a much longer time due to the size of the volume. I am hoping in the morning it will be back up and running.

Anyone see this? Ever?

I've got the same problem on 8.2 Beta3 with AFP. A few month everything works fine.
But suddenly the createmask changed and if i create a new Folder on the AFP Share,
noone have permission to the new created Folder.

d--------- 2 Manuel TAB 512B May 18 15:12 Neuer Ordner/

I try'd the workaround with add perm:0770 to the r/w rights field in the share setup.

/etc/local/AppleVolues.default:
"/mnt/DatenPool/ManuHase" "Hase" options:usedots rwlist:@TAB perm:0770

But no changes when i create a new Folder.

I dont know what i can do.
