Hello community,
I just installed a TrueNAS Scale 22.12.3.3 instance on my NAS, added a few apps etc.
Now I wanted to use filemanager to provide browser access to the NAS files but (as some? most? all?) truecharts apps it radically chowns everything that is mounted to it upon startup - this is something I really do not want to happen.
Even the Truecharts manual acknowledges this: https://truecharts.org/manual/SCALE/guides/add-storage/ and gives a solution: disable "automatic permissions.
But the "automatic permissions" checkbox does not show up in the "Additional storage" sections in app config - and neither does "read only".
Is this an outdated manual? I've seen mentions of this option as late as August. If it is outdated, is there another way to avoid the chown on startup?
