Adding boot mirror after installation

Hi,

If I install FreeNAS on a drive and later decide I want to mirror the FreeNAS system drive with another drive of the same model, it is possible to add this drive and set it up as a mirror?

Was that ex-post-facto GRUB problem solved, when people add a mirror boot device later?

If you add it via the GUI. IIRC you get a warning if you try to do it in the CLI, and it tells you to do some song and dance to make it work.

Well. It seemed to work when I tested it. I was able to yank USBs and boot with either... And I mirrored twice, and then removed the original too.
