I had my FreeNAS up and running just how I wanted it with no problems at all with 500 GB or space. I found a HDD that wasn't being used and I wanted more space so I added it into my system and I chose to make it and extended part of my other 500 GB drive so it would show up as 1 TB. Little did I know that this drive was having problems and it always disconnects itself and doesn't reconnect. I started messing around and I think I have totally screwed eveything up because I detached the entire 1 Tb drive from inside my WebGui and when I try to reimport it doesn't work. All I want is to have the data off of my first drive.
When I do zpool status it says
Code:
no pools available

When I do zpool import it says
Code:
 pool: Storage

action: The pool can be imported despite missing or damaged devices. The
fault tolerance of the pool may be compromised if imported.

Yeah, the disk you added by itself (gptid/6b6441d3-fbcd-11e2-b227-001aa0131ac1) is a stripe. If that disk fails, you lose EVERYTHING. Unfortunately for you, that disk is failing. What happens when you try to import the pool from the GUI? What error do you get?

As in a auto import? It scans for things then shows up and has me select a volume, and then it says error: volume 'Storage' failed to import, for farther details check pool status

You should just be able to restore from your backup. Problem solved.
