Hello:

I raise my prayers to the FreeNAS Gods.

How do you remove a mirror from a pool?

Here´s my setup:
Code:
  pool: icarus
state: DEGRADED
status: One or more devices could not be opened. Sufficient replicas exist for
the pool to continue functioning in a degraded state.
action: Attach the missing device and online it using 'zpool online'.

scan: scrub repaired 19.0M in 13h47m with 0 errors on Sun Jul 21 13:47:37 2013

The entire vdev? You don't. This is well explain in my FreeNAS presentation for noobs.

If you want to replace the "UNAVAIL" disk, use the FreeNAS manual section for disk replacement.

Thanks. I will just have to copy everything to a new disk, destroy the pool and start over.
