What exactly is the right way to use a data set as a share? Right now I have set up /mnt/tank/backups to be an NFS share but when I tried to mount backups on my computer and access to share there were no files inside. That dataset does have child data sets , am I not supposed to be able to see them? The permissions are set as my user owning the data set so I'm not sure why I can't see anything. The other strange thing is when I make a new NFS share and set the child dataset /mnt/tank/backups/Archon/Sync as my share all my files are available. Are you not supposed to set a share a dataset that has child datasets? Is that not the right way to use them?
