Access bhyve rancherOS image filesystem

Hi All,
I had messed up a cloud-config.yml and now my rancherOS not booting (it is booting - just no login prompt). Is there a way to mount the disk image and edit cloud-config.yml instead of just redoing it all from scratch? I am running Freenas-11.2 U2.1

Were you able to resolve this?

Unfortunately no. I had to blow away the image and create new one, however it would be very helpful for the future to get an understanding how to mount the image.
