Access another pool/share on the same system within a VM

I have plex installed and have all my stuff in there, I also have a VM on Truenas that I want to only use for downloading for plex. My issue is I cannot seem to access the main storage to move content over? I have tried sharing storage and cannot find any setting to do so. I have also tried adding the share to the VM but it cannot see it, The VM can see my Qnap Nas's Share but not the Truenas share I set up for plex, My externals computers can all see the Plex Share without issue.
Im stuck and would appreciate any help.

I have searched the forum extensively and cannot find an answer, There are a few topics that are the same but no resolution or all old dead links.
I have also googled away and maybe feel im just not using the correct words to search.
