Access 2016 error 3045 since upgrade to version 13

We upgraded our NAS Core to version 13 and seemed to not have any issues. We have a small group of Seniors who use this NAS share to store their Access 2016 databases. It appears since the upgrade that they now are unable to have more than one user open an access db file without getting the error 3045 "the file is already in use" They operate in a Workgroup setting and we are trying to see if the upgrade may have caused the issue or perhaps it may reside elsewhere. Any guidance on where in True Nas to look for a possible solution would be appreciated
