Acces the plugins folder HELP!

OK..... i know what your thinking.... WHAT!?

first im looking for a way to install some plugins on my plex server witch has freenas ....
bare in mind that i tried to access it by changing the permissions to windows and it crashed my plex in the process it seems every folder insde the jail has diferent permission ...

soo i went to the shell *good old shell* and try to move the plugins from one folder to another ... *inhale* no dice no directory found with the name plex as im looking at it in the drive but curently have no access to the folder to write....

First off, as you've discovered don't change the permissions of your jails you'll break them if you do. Second, you should have no issue using a FTP client on your local network to add plugins to plex. You'll have to temporarily enable root login via SSH and use the FTP client to connect via SFTP and upload what you need to the plex jails plugins folder.
