Absolute Newbie

Hi people
My first time here so please understand any basic mistakes

Im setting up my first nas with a old pc

AMD Athlon II x4 645 3.1 ghz processor -
AS Rock N68C-S UCC motherboard
8gb Ram
32gb SSD to run NAS
2TB red WD hard drive

this is just for my own personal use for one pc and one laptop

I would add another 2TB drive and mirror them. This will provide redundancy for the pool. Should one disk fail, your data should be safe on the other disk.
