After waiting over ten minutes for the update while stuck at 33%, I took a look at the console. The last lines are:
Oct 22 16:41:03 freenas root: + exit 0
Oct 22 16:41:03 freenas root: + rm -f /tmp/install_worker.XXXXXX.eX1V99Pt
Oct 22 16:41:03 freenas notifier: umount: unmount of /var/tmp/firmware failed: Device busy
Oct 22 16:41:03 freenas manage.py: [middleware.exceptions:38] [MiddlewareError: Could not destroy memory device: mdconfig: ioctl(/dev/mdctl): Device busy ]
Oct 22 16:41:03 freenas manage.py: [system.forms:183] Failed to destroy upload location: Could not destroy memory device: mdconfig: ioctl(/dev/mdctl): Device busy
It's been stuck there for 8 more minutes.
I knew I was going to regret updating :/
