i upgraded to 9.10 and the reboot went okay.

today i rebooted the server and it stopped at the menu to select the boot environment. then i had 3 choices (i remember 1 was normal - can't remember the others)

is this normal behavior on 9.10 ? - on 9.3 it started automatically

normally i run the server headless - it was lucky i was working on something else and had a monitor attached so i could see what was going on.

how do i make it boot automatically ?

thank you

When did you upgrade to 9.10? If a few days ago, I'd apply the latest updates. They fixed some bugs last? night.

I'm running 9.10 (fresh install) updated to -> FreeNAS-9.10-STABLE-201603252134 in a VM and it reboots okay.

nope the latest update did not work - the gnu grub version2.02 beta2 screen wants me to select the boot environment

That's inconvenient. Please create a bug report at bugs.freenas.org and post the issue number here.

Bug #14309

another issue i spotted is that the only boot environment i can select is the latest 9.10 (even though there are another 4 on the boot ssd - which show up in the gui)
