Hi,

I have on my freenas system, 3 disks WD Red (3TB each). My doubt is that when i add the volumes in raid system (i choose the 3 disks) i can use all data (3x3)?

How did you setup your pool? It looks like RAIDz1. If that is the case your space will be (N-1)*C or in your case (3-1)*3=6. In this case a raw pool size of 9TB and a usable size of 6TB is correct. If you striped all disks together (3*3) you could use all 9TB but is anything goes wrong with any of the three disks you would lose ALL of you data.

Don't forget that it is not recommended to fill the space above 80%. So I would suggest setting a limit on now so you never really get "surprised" later on down the road. :)
