11.3-RELEASE collectd transmits absurd values for CPU temperature

Hi all,

some complaints about the dismissal of Netdata in 11.3 and finally this post:

sparked my interest in graphing solutions again. I have Influxdb and Grafana running, Influx with a Graphite compatible ingest port, and my FreeNAS sending data to it. So far so good.

About the only metric that is decidedly weird is CPU temperature. I get values around 3.300 units of whatever for each CPU core. Does anyone know the correct scaling formula to get to degrees centigrade? Division by 10 and the subtraction of 273 would get a roughly correct result for my idle machine but that is just wild guesswork.
And I could not find any documentation on this.

So all hints most welcome - thanks!
Patrick

Rool back to 11.2 and use netData or wait for plugin to get released.
Don't be silly. For someone so heavily focussed on stats you surely appreciate every initiative taken in that direction.

A while ago I played with sexigraf as they had their FreeNas backend figured out.
(http://www.sexigraf.fr/freenas-sexipanel/). A grafana based solution is surly superior to netdata in terms of historical performance issue hunting.

Thanks for confirming. Do you happen to know how frequently data gets written?
