SOLVED - 11.2-RC1 - can freenas-boot/grub safely be deleted?

Subject says it - according to the release notes GRUB was replaced by native FreeBSD bootloader, so I guess I can remove that dataset?

I assume as much. Just make sure you are indeed booting using the FreeBSD bootloader, the process has not been universally smooth.
