10GBPS NIC Support?

Does anyone know if FreeNAS supports any 10 Gigabit NICs? I run FreeNAS right next to my PfSense box, I've been considering linking them together with two of these on a cat7 cable:

Not sure I know what you mean... are you commenting on the appearance of the card or just the fact that 10GBPS doesn't seem legitimate yet... because you can run 10GBPS over copper, netgear is selling switches now: http://www.netgear.com/landing/10gigabit.aspx

I mean that I wouldn't buy a generic brand PCI-e card of any kind, especially a 300 buck 10GbE adapter. For that kind of money, you can get a proper product from someone who knows what they're doing.
I'm not familiar with what exactly works best in FreeNAS, 10GbE-wise. 10GbE has been somewhat problematic in general, with the situation apparently slowly improving.

Interesting, I've never thought of ST as a generic brand, everything I've bought from them has worked well, from USB3.0 DisplayPort adapters to SSD PCI Slot Enclosures. It does have decent reviews, to boot. Edit: looks like the reviews are all for the 1GbE adapter, drat.

If anyone knows of a better 10GbE NIC I'd love to take a look, even more so if they can confirm it works on FreeNAS (And FreeBSD in general, since I'll be putting one in PfSense as well)

The only currently recommended 10Gb adapter is the Chelsio, which are like $900 used on ebay.

10Gb options, at present, aren't very good.

Intel X520s are currently having driver problems so they aren't a good choice right now. A fix is expected, but nobody has a clue if that means next week or next year.

Alright, any suggestions on aggregate link? Perhaps a decent dual or quad NIC card that works well?

Intel is my recommendation. But keep in mind that if you are doing this for home, you are almost certainly wasting your time trying to do LACP/lagg. Unless you have lots of workstations (we generally say 10 minimum) you are kind of stuck. Here at my house I stuck with 1Gb until i could afford to go to 10Gb.

I am using the Intel X540 10GbE and they perform OK. Dont know if they have same issue as the X520. :-S

I think they're the 10GBaseT version of the X520s, but I might be mistaken.
