IN need of some guidance please as a search didn't turn up much.
Ive ordered a dell powerConnect 5524 and a SolarFlare S7120. Is there a certain type of transceiver that works with both or will any do in both the card and the managed switch?
at present the managed client that the NAS is attached to is currently waiting on a 5Gbe host controller that will have an RJ45 connection to it (unable to get SFP+ on it due to it being a newer generation Mac Mini)
