I am moving my storage to a new motherboard/CPU/ECC memory.

From reading the online documentation I understand that I need to:

Detach the existing volume. My question is do I need to:

“Also delete the share’s configuration”????

New system has been tested and has its own USB stick. I have already save my config.

Ready to make the move.

All you have to do is plug drives into new system and restore config.

You don't have to detach anything but the cables.

I wouldn't delete the share configuration just in case you want to use the old usb again in the new system.
