I upgraded the size of my pool of harddisks. I created a replication of the existing pool, replaced the 10 x 2TB drives with 7x10TB drives, and created the new pool. Both were RAIDZ2. I replicated the pool back to the new set of drives. For some reason all of my shares are gone. In the GUI under sharing NFS or SMB there is nothing. Is this information stored in the replication? Do I need to load a truenas backup?

Share config is in the config DB, not in the pools that are shared.

Did you export the pool or at least stop the sharing services while you were doing the transfer? (during export, you see the option to retain share information... if you didn't export, stopping the services and bringing them back with the same named pool and datasets after the transfer would have been fine)

Thanks for the reply. I had a couple of things go wrong. First was that I think I deleted my configuration file. I luckily had a backup. Second, when I ran the replication task the storage was reset to read only. That caused all sorts of havoc. Everything seems fine now.
