ESXi: Migration from TrueNAS Core to Scale

Hi,

It seems from what I've read that migration from Core to Scale is trivial. But does it work as flawless when the Core is running on a VM (ESXi)?

Thanks Kris. I was just worried about the fact that ESXi tends to ask which system one is installing and how much of this is relevant for running the VM.

You'll want to change the OS type to Linux 64bit (Debian) so the installer boots properly. But assuming that is done properly, it should be able to import the disk and perform the migration.
