Hi,
in my TrueNAS-12.0-U2 I have JBOD, five elder HDs, each with only some hundred uptime hours, but small in size (500GB, 640GB, 1TB, 2 TB, 4TB (TreuNAS=7.2TB), as a stripe set in a pool (pool1). It is the backup of the backup of my main workstation. All works fine so far. I didn't want to throw these error free, as new, HDs away. I now restructure everything and I wanted set up an 8TB (TrueNAS=7.4TB) drive as a mirror for this pool. Unfortunately, I can't figure out, how. It only offers to add the 8TB to the pool.
Then I tried to set up the 8TB drive as it's own stripe pool (pool2) and mirror pool1 on pool2. I couldn't figure this out too :(
Sure, I could set up both pools as virtual drives on my workstation and have robocopy mirroring pool1 and pool2. But this is not the most effective and elegant way, I guess.
I wonder, if anyone could help me with this. Thanky you! :)
