Hi,

How do i monitor the disks status which are connected to my LSI HBA card using megaraid storage manager with NAS IP.
Can someone share me links or steps to configure in my NAS server.

I think you have misunderstood how to use FreeNAS.

Your card may be capable of being flashed to so-called IT mode, but it is a RAID card unless you did that and using the megaraid storage manager seems to me to indicate you are using it in RAID mode (a clear no-go for FreeNAS).

You will not find any help in these forums for using your card in that way.

If you do even the smallest amount of searching, you should find some forum posts on how to flash your card to IT mode (assuming that card supports it).

If you do so, you may lose any data currently on the RAID volume, so backup important data first.

Once you have your card in IT mode, with the disks all individually showing up in FreeNAS, you can just follow the official documentation to create pools and datasets and enjoy your FreeNAS experience safely.

No I am using LSI HBA 9207-8i card and I flashed it with latest firware 2.0x in IT mode.
Like LSI raid card is there a way to check the status of disks using LSI MSM from remote.

You monitor disks through the FreeNAS. All the monitoring tools you need are in FreeNAS or available from scripts that we have links to here on the forum. Please take time to learn more about FreeNAS before committing data to the system. There are many Useful Links under the button in my signature, please explore.
Also, if you would, please share your hardware details with the forum.
