Every time I try to log in to forums.freenas.org using Firefox, I get the

Oops! We ran into some problems.

warning. I've done everything I can to convince you that I accept all cookies and site data, don't block anything, and in fact several ads have popped up already. I'm using Edge right now to post my frustration, but can't continue that for technical reasons.

I don't normally use FireFox, but I fired it up just now to see if it works for me... and it does, which of course doesn't help you any. I'm using the version you mentioned above.

Are you behind a security appliance of some kind? Are you using any ad-blockers, or ghostery, or anything like that?

There's always the option of clearing out your browser cache. I know it's a cliched solution, but sometimes it really does 'fix' browser problems.

Good luck!

Well, this is strange. I followed the e-mail link to read your reply (thanks!) and found I was successfully logged on to the forum in Firefox. But to answer your Qs anyway, no security appliance, using AdBlock+ but the forum is specifically unblocked, no ghostery. I'm chalking it up to gremlins for now.
