Uso del CPU

Saludos foro, siempre se habla del uso de la RAM en la freenas, pero poco se habla del CPU , yo en mi actual caja con freenas y unos 10tb en disco , no llegó al uso del 15% del Procesador , tengo un Xeon de 4 núcleos, es importante poner un Procesador tan caro ?

If your machine is not heavily used, the quad core Xeon will not be used to it's full potential
and would be considered by many home users as a complete waste of money. The workload
on a file server can, and does sometimes warrant the use of a more powerful CPU to quickly
process tasks such as Transcoding video files which is a very CPU intensive operation.

This forum is full of threads discussing the choice of CPU speed and power for use in a great
variety of use cases. I suggest you use the search feature and read about the opinions from
some of the other members.

thank BigDave , I am using this freenas for storage of a virtual cluster with iscsi connection.
