Hey all. I'm looking to build my first dedicated server after doing the whole old desktop parts scrapping bit for many years.
I plan on running Plex/Sonarr/Deluge etc.
If you could guys take a look at my build and offer suggestions I would be most appreciative. I'll probably pull the trigger over the next week and see what sales I can grab. My budget max is $1k. For the purpose of staying on budget I plan on mirroring the two drives I have initially and expanding later.
Note - I would use PCPartPicker but for some reason it thinks a micro ATX mobo that supports 32GB of RAM doesn't exist. I plan on shopping around for the best possible deal.
Supermicro Motherboard uATX DDR3 1600 LGA 1150 MBD-X10SLH-F-O
Intel Xeon E3-1226 v3
Kingston 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM ECC Registered DDR3 1600
Fractcal Design Node 304 Mini-ITX Case
2 x WD Red 2TB 7200 RPM
Seasonic 350W 80+ Bronze Certified APFC ATX 350 Power Supply
Thanks!
