Locked myself out of Freenas

I recently changed the port to my NAS server to 8182, but I forgot that Webdav also uses that port.
I can not log into the admin area anymore.
Any idea's on how to solve this so I can enter the admin area?

Log in on the console, reset the configuration, and then upload a previously backed-up configuration that worked.

No. The console is not for complex configuration tasks. It's there to configure the system just enough to get your system on the network so you can hit the GUI.

i know that your not supposed to but i thought the functionality was there just you know not recommended

Stopping the webdav service from the CLI, while a hack, should be good enough to get the GUI working again. It won't be particularly pretty, but it should be manageable - ensure webdav isn't being used, etc.

Well, it allows access to the shell, so it's just a matter of calling whatever script the GUI uses.

Or at least it did allow access to the shell.

Weak, Eric. With that logic, you could argue that, yes, of course, you can add a single hard disk to a RAIDZ because it's possible for you to code up block pointer rewrite for ZFS. While technically true, it isn't likely to be a practical solution for the average user. It isn't clear to me that it's as simple as calling a script, and it's certainly clear to me that the average new user who can't figure out how to recover from a mistake like this is not going to figure out which script might do this.
