freenas not respond, unless you use ssh to connect it

Hi everyone!

I used freenas 9.2.1.5 in an intel servers.The server opens cifs, ftp, iscsi&ssh.

Now，The question is will randomly appear nas service did not respond, no matter whether I access it. Not connect cifs, ftp and iscsi.

But when I use ssh to connect nas system, all services will be restored. Even if I do not have any account login to use.

freenas 9.2.1.4 system also has the same problem.

How to solve?

Do you have a green switch by chance? I've seen all sorts of problems caused from green switches.

Try connecting your computer to FreeNAS directly with a crossover cable (you'll have to assign IPs to each of the machines).

I think the question should be in the software
But I do not know where the error
I am using a common switches
I have another freenas server with freenas 8.0 in the same lan ,Working properly.

There's too many factors going on here to say it's the software. We need to rule out some things first:

1. Does it happen when you direct connect? Then we'd know that it's not the switch.
2. What happens if you try a different switch?
3. Are there other network devices between you and the FreeNAS box? Like powerline adapters, wifi, etc.

I have to use the switches, maybe I can try different switches.

No other network devices, between me and freenas box.
