Hi All,

I'm running FreeNAS version 11.1-U4 on a custom build system.
Currently there are 6 disks attached, ada0 - ada5.

when running the zpool status -v command I get the following errors back:

Code:
		NAME STATE READ WRITE CKSUM
		disk1 ONLINE 1 0 0
		  gptid/76c9d830-2546-11e8-badc-d05099a7c264 ONLINE 1 0 1
errors: Permanent errors have been detected in the following files:
		/mnt/disk1/jails/nextcloud_1/media/user1/files/Photos/2016/09/16-09-25 15-26-12 6345.mov

and

Code:
		NAME STATE READ WRITE CKSUM
		disk2 ONLINE 0 0 1
		  gptid/1f30dfb7-27d5-11e8-87f2-d05099a7c264 ONLINE 0 0 2
errors: Permanent errors have been detected in the following files:
		/mnt/disk2/movies2/Inside out (2015)/Inside out 2015.mkv

should I just delete these files and restore them from backup?

please advise

Yes. that would rb the correct action to take since you only have single disk pools.

If I may ask, why are you running single disk pools? You have no redundancy and only error detection.

thanks, I will delete the files.
I'm planning to setup redundancy soon to overcome this issue.
