Dear community,
We have found a problem 2 weeks ago after having just assembled and setting up the server.
1 x Processador Intel Pentium G3220 3.0 GHz LGA 1150 BX80646G3220
2 x Crucial 8GB DDR3/DDR3L-1600MT/s (PC3-12800) DR x8 ECC UDIMM Server Memory - CT2KIT102472BD160B/CT2CP102472BD160B
3 x Seagate Ironwolf Pro HD 16 TB ST16000NE000
- All brand new hardware. Except that the motherboard, processor and RAM was purchased in 2016. Disks were purchased in 2022.
OS: TrueNAS-SCALE-22.12.3.3
After we started moving files to the server and testing dockers, we got a POOL DEGRADED report. And the following statuses:
ZFS Health (X) RED ALERT
Pool Status: Unhealthy
30% Used Space
Disks with Errors 1
We performed our SMART Long test throught the Shell and after 1 week it finished stating COMPLETED: READ FAILURE.
We attached our log in this post and would like to ask the following question:
Should we send this disk to Seagate ASAP and replace it with another disk, or should we also be worried about other components?
Regards,
Max.
