ZFS To Windows 10

So I'm trying to pull data off of my drives that where in freenas I know I should of backed them up. Can I use zfswin to do this ?

Why not just import the pool in another instance of FreeNAS?

I only see import disc or import volume under storage

You could probably do it in windows, but without further description of the situation, we can't help you more than that.

We can import encrypted (FreeNAS) ZFS pools in Windows...? For real? So to fix the problems I am having with FreeNAS (see https://www.ixsystems.com/community...lewareerror-at-storage-volume-2-unlock.75032/) I could just install an SSD disk, put Windows server on it and access my data that way? If that works I'm sure some community leaders would be more than happy to see me switch ;-)

The port of OpenZFS to windows was done as a proof of concept, but it is not currently under development.

Simple answer, no. The encryption uses GELI, which is a FreeBSD thing.

It wasn't ever really dropped. Lundman is just crazy enough to put his time into the thing. I should probably put together a Windows Server machine and help test that stuff...

We got to that part (decrypting). All the rest is still messed up :/
