Greetings all.
I just upgraded from FreeNAS 9.2 to 9.2.1, with the ultimate goal of FreeNAS 11.3. I am currently trying to grow my 5-drive raidz2 pool, which consists of four 2TB drives and one 1TB drive, which will be replaced. Before making the swap, I want to replicate onto an internal backup drive. I have a daily snapshot task enabled and can view the snapshots in the GUI:
I can also view the snapshots using zfs list -t snapshot. Out of curiosity, I wanted to view the contents of the snapshot by navigating to /mnt/storage_rz2/.zfs, however the .zfs directory is not there. To be sure, I used ls -la in /mnt/storage_rz2 and find . -type d -name ".zfs" from /, but nothing.
I want to make sure that I have a backup before I drop one of the pool drives and resilver. Any ideas?
