With the Xeon E3 1220 v3 shouldnt the number of cpu's = 4? Maybe I am wrong?

Mine shows 8 (I have the E3-1230v2). Yours should too. I bet your CPU setttings in the BIOS aren't set properly.

Yep looks like I will need to reflash with the JPME2 jumper moved because in the BIOS its only showing 1 core. Thank you Cyberjock!

Were you happy with the performance running only 1 core?

Yes it wasn't bad at all. A few times it did seem sluggish which led to me researching obviously.

So it looks like I will be doing an RMA with SuperMicro for my motherboard. I worked with their techsupport and they couldnt get it to work. Bummer but I couldnt be happier with the support I received from SuperMicro. So for anyone that is not sure how good they are. I will say they were fantastic and I will definitely buy another board from them. Matter of fact I might do that so I dont have downtime for a week or two. Cant live without FreeNAS for a couple weeks :P
